American singer, songwriter, and guitarist Chuck Ragan played at the sold-out Christuskirche in Bochum as part of his “Glühwein Tour 2025.” He was accompanied by Todd Beene on the GFI Ultra pedal steel guitar and electric guitar. Chuck Ragan has been a fixture on the folk-punk scene for many years. He became famous with the band Hot Water Music before also enjoying great success as a solo artist. His songs combine raw energy with deep emotion. He is known for his distinctive voice, his harmonious guitar arrangements, and his direct way of telling stories. Especially when performing live, he manages to captivate audiences in a matter of seconds. He proved this once again on this concert evening in Bochum. His old friend Digger Barnes from Hamburg supported him as the opening act.
